Basically it starts off where BTVS season 7 ended and now that sunnydale is all gone all buffy and her friends are left homeless so they decide to go to Neptune California with their cousin Veronica Mars. Xander, willow, faith and Giles tag along while the potentials slayers that survive go to England to train with the new watchers council. Eventually spike finds his way to Neptune too.
